Jocelyn Sideco
As Program Director, Jocelyn supports overall planning for community-wide events that include Dia de los Muertos, the Christmas Banquet, Community Dinners, and Voices in the Valley. She connects our congregation to the Deanery (local Episcopal churches) and the Diocese (regional body which includes 70 other Episcopal churches), two structures of governance and communications established by the Episcopal Church.
Jocelyn has a particular love for strengthening a sense of community through peace-building and equitable practices, social justice and expansive communications, and assets-based community development.
In addition to serving at Christ Church (quarter time), Jocelyn serves as Pastoral Associate at St. Paul’s Burlingame (three quarter time). She is also a Postulant for Holy Orders in the Diocese of California, serving once a month at Holy Child St. Martin’s in Daly City.
Jocelyn has a master’s degree in theology from the Jesuit School of Theology and completed a year of clinical pastoral education at UCSF Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital and Clinics with a focus on mental health.
