Christ Church will not sell your email address. We may use it to promote our events or partner events using Constant Contact, Eventbrite, SignUp Pro, a church directory and similar packages. You can be removed from our Constant Contact and Eventbrite emails by using the Unsubscribe link on the emails you receive from them.

We also may collect your email and other contact information when you pay online using PayPal, Square, Constant Contact, Zelle, Vanco, Venmo or other payment service that the church uses. 

The church keeps information in a database as well as in our church directory. The church directory is password-protected, but available online or as a paper copy. The database is used by church administration to record a person's contact information, births, marriages, deaths. Birthdays and other information may be published in our weekly newsletter that is available online. They may also be announced at our weekly church service.

Our Sunday service and other events are recorded and photographed. We publish our Sunday services on YouTube and put links to them on other websites. If you don’t wish to be filmed at a service please let our audio-visual technicians know and sit at the back of the church.

SMS consent and phone numbers will never be shared with third parties or affiliates under any circumstances. SMS consent is not shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

If you give us your cellphone or mobile phone number we may send you a text from our church number (650) 851-0224. You may also send a text to that number and we may save that contact information in our phone system. Our emailing system Constant Contact, church directory software Instant Church Directory, scheduling system Ministry Scheduler Pro,  or other system may be configured to send email from us and we will also enable you to unsubscribe from any texts.  You can opt out of a text from Christ Church or unsubscribe  by replying STOP.
